It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Omong’ina Mary Kemunto Nyakung’u (Mariamu) on 14th February 2017 of Gesabakwa village. Beloved wife of late Elijah Nyakung’u. Daughter of the late Atandi and the late Milka Bwari from Oteri ya Abuga. Co- wife of Elisheba Bonareri Nyakung’u. Mother of Norah Nyaboke. Stepmother of Zipporah, Gechemba, Moffat, Ondicho, Anthony, Gilbert, Peter, Cyrus Ombogo, Morrison, Ogembo, Omambia Chuko, William, and the late Aminga among others. Sister of the late Daniel Mabubo, Sarah, the late Zaphaniah Anyona, the late Nyaboke, Nyakara, Gesare, Zablon, Omache, Mairura, Bitutu. Cousin of the late Obande, the late Atinda, the late Mugoya and the late Moturi. Aunt of Saul, Morang’a, Bwari, Margaret, Nyanga’u and the late Moruri among others. Sister-in-law of the late Moywaywa, the late Ouya, the late Ogaya, the late Masasi. Grandmother of Jerusa, Begi, Eucabeth, Bwari, Mokeira, Nyambane, Josiah, Winny & the late Naom Mosiara among others. Abachokororia (11 ).

Friends and family members are meeting daily at Garden Square for funeral arrangements. The main fundraising will be held on Tuesday 21st at Professional Centre from 4pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 23rd February 2017 at 8am to her home, in Kisii Gesabakwa village for burial on Friday 24th 2017.
