It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of MaryWanjiru, wife of Francis Mwangi Gathii of Nyairoko, 01 Jororok, which occurred on Saturday 29th April 2017, at Our Lady’s Hospice,Thigio. Daughter of the late John Kaniaru Chege and the late Seraphinah Karungari Kaniaru of Kagongo, Murang’a. Mother of the late Consolata Wanjeri, Serah Mwangi, Jeremiah Gathii & Nancy Nyambura, Rose Njoki & Wilfred Makutha, Jane Wacuka & Moses Muriuki, Ann Wanjiku Mwangi. ,Grandmother of josemaria Mwangi, Jeanmarie Ng’ang’a, James Wanjama, Juliusmarie Kamau, Mariejose Wanjiru, the late Samuel Muriithi Makutha, Tomas Alvira Makutha, Bernadette Muthoni, Antony Macharia, Chris Mark & Shamim, Jolene Wanjiru. Great grandmother of Chris Kimari and Fontaine Jaffar. Sister of Wanjiku Kiratu, Kabura Kamau,Wangui Kaniaru, Wangari Kaniaru, lrungu Kaniaru (all deceased), Joseph Chege Kaniaru, Esther Waruinu Mwangi of Kuresoi, Molo. Step sister of Wambui Waithaka, Chege Kaniaru and Francis Thuku (all deceased). Beloved Auntie of jenalo Chege, josephWanjamajeremiah Kaburi,Wanjeri Chege, Munga Chege, Mumu Muraya,Wanjeri Migui (all deceased), Patrick Ngari of USA, Regina Gathara, John Wanjama, Mwangi Kihuri, Karungari Kihuri, Thuku Karaihira,Wanjeri Karaihira, Gathii Muraya, Mwathi Waweru, among others. Cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Rd on Friday 5th May at I0.00am followed by the funeral Mass at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Lang’ata at 12.QOpm nd burial at Lang’ata Cementry.
