We regret to announce the death of after ‘ a short illness.
Daughter of the late John Mariko Abwao and the late Bethseba Aloo of Agulu School, Central Alego, Siaya County. She was the wife of Joseph Oduor Nyamgero of Magoya, Iseme, Uholo West Location, Siaya County. Sister of the late Isabel Athieno, Margaret Aol, the late John Ouma Abwao, the late Ambrose Ochieng’, Felgona Adikiny and Denis Abwao. Mother of Mary Okwemba, Peter Adonija Nyamgero, Mikal Ogola Aol, Fred Nyamgero, Millicent Agola Obuya, Roseline Awuor Asesa, the late Alice Achieng’ Okoth, Janet Adhiambo Oyier, George Nyamgero, Wilfred Nyamgero, Anne Mudiwo, Caroline Debora, Sarah Nganga and Mildred Nyamgero.Mother-in-law of Richard Amolo Okwemba, Prof. Paul Achola, the late Samwel Adhola, Eliud Ogola  Ao, Dan Obuya, Collins Okoth, and Julius Oyier. Auntie of Hellen Achola, the late Roselyne Adhola, Oduor. Aol, Owino Aol, Dick Omondi, Ben Jasiru, Agwingi, Reuben Wayodi, Alfred Wayodi, Millicent Abwao, Carol Abwao, Mariko Abwao, Beth Abwao, the Late Owino Magero. Grandmother of Martin Okwemba,Okoth Okwemba, and Omondi Okwemba among others. Burial is scheduled for Saturday 6th May 2017 at her home in Magoya, Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Magoya and at House no. I 6A, Magiwa Estate Nairobi.There will be a fundraising meeting at the All Saints Cathedral , in Nairobi at 5:30 PM on Thursday 27th April 2017.
