It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the KEFRI management announce the passing on of Milton Ouru Manguro formerly of Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Karura Nairobi which occurred on 21/02/2017 at Guru Nanak Hospital. Son of the late Elkana Manguro Arot, the late Prisca Deya and Truphena Otula Manguro of Kanyada Kanyabala, Ruga Village. Loving husband of Sara Akoth Nyaoro. Father of Loreen Akinyi of Kisumu General Hosiptal, Dennis Manguro of Karatina University, Samantha Atieno of UoN, Lailac Manguro of Rang’ala Girls and Truphy Manguro of Junction Academy. Grandfather of Adrian. Brother of the late Johnson Pamba, Moses Arot, Jacob Awiti, Thomas Oloo, Prof Lawrence Manguro, Joshua Opondo, John Otieno, the late Fibi Onyando, Pamela Adhiambo, Consolata Anuro, Mary Ojowa, Teresa Odira, Caroline Akinyi and the late Monica Auma. Brother-in-law of Teresa Pamba, Hellen Arot, Benter Oloo, Florence Achieng’, Florence Akinyi, Tabitha Nancy and Margaret Ondiek. Father-in-law Felix Omundo of Wiga Secondary School. Uncle of Akungo, Erick, Omondi, Robinson, David, Phelly, Cyril, Manguro Nimrod, Emelda, Darius, Namenge, Kidew among others. Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence at Karura Forest Station and at home in Homa Bay. A fundraising will be held on 2/03/2017 at Karura and a final fundraising will be held on 8/03/2017 at Garden Square starting from 2pm to help offset medical bills and funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 9/03/2017 at 6am for burial on 10/03/2017 at his home in Homa Bay, Kanyada, Kanyabala, Ruga village.
