Mrs. Agnes Muthoni Muhia Gatama

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mrs. Agnes Muthoni Muhia Gatama of on Thursday 16th July 2026, after a short illness bravely borne.

She was the daughter of the late Isaac Njenga Kigotho and the late Gladyce Mumbi Njenga. Wife of James William Muhia Gatama and Mother to Esther Wanjiru, Gladys Mumbi, and Gerald atama.

Dear sister of the late Lucia Mwihaki, John Kinyanjui, the late Michael Mburu, the late Kamau, Peter Waweru, the late Joseph Githigiu, and James Gichuru. She was stepsister of Mary Wanjiku, Lucia Mwihaki; Thomas Kinyanjui, Margaret Nwihaki, Alice Nungari, George Mwaura, Susan Njeri, Salome Muthoni, Jane Wambui, Moses Kamau, Joyce Waithera, Loice Wanjiku and Elizabeth Gachiku.

Family & friends are meeting daily at their Nairobi Komarock 5B Estate home from 6.30pm, Sagas Hotel, Thika Road from 6 pm and rural home at Gachika, Gatundu South, from 4.00pm, for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave KU Referral hospital Mortuary (Northern bypass) on Friday 24th July 2026 at 8:00am and proceed to Christ the King Catholic Church, Gachika, Ndundu Parish, for the funeral service to start at 12.00 noon. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest in their Gachika home.
