It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs Jane Waniiru Gathumbi on 12th January, 2017.

Devoted wile of Peter Gathumbi Kongo of Kaguthi (Kabati) Ithiru Kandara. Daughter of the late Allan and Reginah Wanyoike. Daughte-in-law of the late Duncan and the late Hannah Kongo. Mother of Duncan Kimemia and Lenah Mbithe, Ann Wairimu and Patrick Ikiki, Reginah Wambui (USA,), Shelmah Nyambura and Allan Wanyoike (Chania Boys’). Sister of Charles and Nancy Wanyoike, late Ann Wairimu, the late Sophia Nyambura, Maria Wanyoike (USA), Lucy Wanyoike (USA), Judith and Ken Wamuti (USA) and Eric and Faith Wanyoike. Sister in law of Nyambura, Wanjiku, Jane, Rose the late Njuguna, Judy, Habib, Maina and Gathumbi among others. Dotting grandmother of Mark Ikiki, Travis Gathumbi, Alyna Thuku, Levonah and Alyna. Loving aunty of Titoyan, Yvonne, Diana, Wambui, Wamucii, Allan, Lanny, Dalia, Yeline, Jamel, Ann Michuki, Faith and Esther.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their Kandara home and Abbey Hotel, Nairobi, from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 21^st January 2017 at 8am for a funeral and burial service at their Kandara Home.
