Mwalimu Charles Muraguri Kanyingi

March 1928 – 3rd May 2017   It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Mwalimu Charles Muraguri on Wednesday 3rd of May 2017 after a short illness.

Loving husband of the late Margaret Waruguru Muraguri. Dedicated and loving father of Urban Kanyingi, Dr. Rosa Muraguri-Mwololo, Denis Kamau, Nicholas Ngungu, Fabian Gichane, and Silvan° Ruchuu. Father-in-law of Prof.TimothyWaema,Alice Kamau, Augusta Gichane,Wanza Ngungu, and Lucy Ruchuu. Loving grandfather of Prince Muraguri Kanyinge, Mwende, Tana and Koki Mwololo, Eric Budi and Joan and Wangabo Kamau,Winnie, Antony and Monica Ngungu, Charles Mura, Waruguru, Francois and Baptista Gichane, Charles Karira and Lisa Ruchuu and uncle of many.
Family and friend are meeting daily at his home in Kamacharia for prayers and meetings for funeral arrangements will be held at St.Andrew’s church in Nairobi starting Tuesday 9th,Wednesday the 10th, and Thursday the ilth of May, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home Nairobi on Saturday 13th May, 2017 for funeral service at 10.00am at Kiriithiru Church, Kamacharia. He will be laid to rest in Kamacharia Village Murang’a.
