It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce promotion to glory of our beloved Great grandmother, Grandmother, Mother, Sister and friend, Mwalimu Emily Wairimu Kimani (Nyina Wa Shem) of Gitundu, Othaya, Nyeri. Loving wife of the late Josiah Kimani Wangome.
Doting Mother of Shem and Merl Kimani (Nyeri/Nairobi), William, the late Wanjugu and Margaret Wangome (Nyeri/Othaya), Ven. Canon. Prof. Wangari and Allan Mwai (Othaya/Kenyatta University), the late Juddy Nyambura and Reuben and Leah Mwathi (Othaya).

Funeral arrangement Meetings are taking place daily at her home in Kianjwe Village ( Munaini ) in Othaya and in Nairobi at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Hall.
The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Funeral Home, Karatina at 9am, on Friday, 3rd March. The burial service and rites will be at her home in Kianjwe, near Othaya town.
Mwalimu Emily, You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith” (2nd Timothy, 4:7).
