We regret to announce the demise of Mwalimu Lina Openji Riziki who succumbed to throat cancer at Tanaka Nursing Home, Busia, on March 14^th 2017. Former student of Machakos TTC (2013-2016) and teacher at Little One Academy, Nairobi.

Daughter of Emilly Ouma and Michael Rapando of Bunandi village, Funyula. Busia County. Granddaughter of the late Mzee Rapando Magorombo and the late Cecilia Akongo Rapando of Bunandi and the late Mzee Henric Ouma and Mama Josephine Taka of Nyakwaka. Sister of Eugene Bwire (Multipurpose Haulers, Mombasa), Jemima Nafula (Bar ka Lare, Gem), Collins Rapando (Ukunda, Kwale), Griface Wandera, Yvonne Anyango (Namboboto ACK Mission Hospital), Jude Akinyi, Collins Rapando (Sigalame High) and Elly Bwire. Niece of Ambrose Rapando, Benard Magorombo, John Magorombo, Sgt Jonathan Rapando (KDF Gilgil) and Jacob Rapando.

Burial will take place at her father’s home Bunandi, Funyula, Busia county on March 25th 2017
