It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Samuel Jonnah Karanja of Murunyu, Nakuru County which occurred at Nakuru War Memorial Hospital on 29th March 2017. Son of the late Jonnah Muhia and Hannah Wambui Muhia. Beloved husband of Florence Wairimu. Father of Jonnah Muhia (Cottar’s camp-Maasai Mara), Cyrus Gitatha (Tetra Pak Ltd), James Njau (Maralal), Reuben Mungai (Incaps Africa Ltd), David Chege (Bio-Metrics Technology Ltd) and Annesther Wambui (Annesther Schools). Father in law of Grace Wangechi, Rose Njambi, Catherine Wanjiru, Alice Wanja. Brother of Mary Wanjiku, Francis Ndungu, James Njau, Margaret Njeri, Florence Njoki, the late David Chege, Peter Waweru, Paul Ngige, Daniel Karanja and Joseph Wainaina. Grandfather of many. Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence in Kiawamu, Murunyu starting at 6. 30pm. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home, Nakuru on Wednesday, 5th Apri1,2017 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at his home.
