We regret to announce the passing away of Mzee Dickson Ouma Wandera of Bukiri Village, Samia District, Busia County. Husband of Dada Jane Wandera. Father of Hannington, Elizabeth, the late George, Lily, Emily, Deborah, Phanice, the late Andrew and Daniel. Father-in-law of Peninah, Apollo, Edward, Shadrack, and Emma.

Son of the late Andrea Saija Wandera & the late Deborah Ajiambo Wandera. Son-in-law of the late Zacharia & the late Musigo Wanyang’i. Brother of Truphosa Amolo, Kepher, the late Betty Mukhongo, the late Aggrey,Asinas Namisi, Helen and Deborah. Brother-in-law of the late Richard Amolo, Hannington Mukhongo, Mary & Rosemary Wandera, Akochi Omolo, Jackson Namisi and the larger Khalonyere family. Nephew of the late Shem Ojiambo, the late Michael Egesa, the late John Waderu, the late Doris Ojiambo, the late Wanjala Machakusi and Catherine Okinyo. Cousin of Kanoti, Kirby, Matilda, Wenceslaus, Henry, Jacinta, Akochi and Philip among others. Uncle of Joyce, Helen, Collins, Judy, Nancy, Harrigan, Rose, Enoch, Fiona among others and, a grandfather and great grandfather of many.

A fundraising to offset funeral expenses will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church on Ngong’ Road on Tuesday 4th April, 2017 from 5:00 p.m.

The burial service will be held from 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 8th April, 2017 at his home in Bukiri Village, Samia District, Busia County.
