Son of the late Joel Obonyo and late Maritha Achieng Ogendo. Loving husband of Anna Awino Lumutu and Teresia Mala Lumutu. Brother of late James Odwaro & Charles Odongo. Father of Austine Lumutu, Alloice Lumutu, Stephen Lumutu, Rosemary Lumutu, Calisto Lumutu, Merceline Achola, John Lumutu, late Astarico Lumutu, Christine Lumutu, and Lucy lumutu. .Father-in-law of Florence Onyango, Judith Nyawade, Florence Okudo, Joyce, Evaline, Stephen & George. Uncle of late George (Panja), Irene, late Martha, Judith, Lilian, Roseline, Evaline, Grace, Mary, Susan, Stella, Filgona, Rasto, Christopher, late Elizabeth, David, Gabriel, Teresa, Mourice, James, Kevin, Eunice & Maurice Owino. Brothers-in-law the late Mary Ongoya, Nerea Odwaro, Consolata, Rosemary and Petronala Odongo. Grandfather of Zebedee, Benja,Trezah, Caro, Anne, James, Beryl, Kyle, Carlyn, Boyee, Pendo, Masa, Melany.

The cortege leaves Ukwala mortuary at 9.30am on Friday 9th December 2016 for a funeral service at Uranga Rock Creek Church. Arch Bishop Dr. James Opiyo Anyango will precise over the funeral service.

Burial will be on Saturday December 10, 2016 at his home in Uhembo Vilage, Usonga Location, Siaya County.
