Nester Wakathare Kamaru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Nester Wakathare Kamaru on 4th July 2017 peacefully in her sleep. Wife of Retired Senior Chief James Kamaru Mathenge.

Sister of Gladys Muthoni Wambu, Nancy Wanjira Njine, Catherine Wangige Mburia, Norman Mbui Gichini and Francis Ngari Gichini. Sister in-law of the late Susana Njoki Thomas among others. Cherished mother of Stanley and Edith Mathenge, James and Joyce Gichuki, Jennifer Wanjiku (deceased) and Elizabeth Wambura (deceased), Alfred and Christine Njiru, Nephat and Marion Muriuki, Michael and Graziella Maria, Eliab and Josephine Muchiri, Ephraim and Charity Kariuki,Timothy and Margaret Ngari. Grandmother of 19 and Great Grandmother of 2 children.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers at her Mucungwa home, Raimu Sublocation, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home on 12th July 2017 at 8:00am followed by a funeral service at ACK All Saints Kianyaga Church at 10:00am. Thereafter she will be laid to rest at their Mucungwa residence.
