With humble acceptance of God’s will we join together to celebrate the life of Rhoda M. Koskei. Beloved daughter of Geoffrey Muthuri (Foreign Affairs, and Casty Kagendo of Chuka, Meru.Wife to Nicholas Korir Koskei (UNICEF). Mother to Ryan Kibet Korir and Jason Kiptoo Korir. She left behind her sister Jesca Kagwiria and brother Nimrod Kinyua.

We give thanks to God for her life, the great love she showed us as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Cathedral Church Nairobi this Friday 2Ist July at 2:00pm – 4:00pm, to celebrate her life. A fund raising will take place immediately after the service from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at All Saints Trinity Centre meeting room. We also encourage contributions in advance to pay bill number 874888, Account – Rhoda funeral. Family and friends are meeting daily from 6:00pm at her father’s residence in Ngara – Nairobi, Kibaki Civil Housing, Block H, Hse No 4.

Body is lying at Lee Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 22nd July 2017 in Chuka – Iruku village,Tharaka Nithi County.

There will be a funds drive on Wednesday 19th July 2017, at Professional Centre from 5.30 p.m. to defray hospital bill & funeral expenses. The cortege leaves MP Shah hospital on 20th July 2017 for a requiem Mass at CITAM Valley Road from 2.00p.m. Burial will take place on 21/07/2017 at her Farm KBC Jericho (Malaa), along Kangundo Road, Machakos County starting from 10.00a.m.

He was the son to the late Adonisio Kahwai Mute and Hannah Nduta Kahwai. Beloved husband to Bernadette Nyambura Ndung’u. Father to Anthony Kahwai, George Ng’ang’a, Stephen Mute, Ruth Ndung’u, Martin Ngugi and Anne Waitherero. Father-in-law to Sarah Kahwai, Monica Ng’ang’a, Regina Ngugi and Francis Mburu. Brother to Margaret Mumbi, the late Charles Thiong’o, late Peter Mute, Mary Gathoni, Teresia Njeri and the late Peter Kamau. He was grandpa to Dennis, Kimberly, Tracey, Ruth, Lorraine, Modestar, Lemayan, Tony, Kyle, Ryan, Abigael, Georgina and Joy. He was in-law to the late Peris Thiong’o, Mary Wanjiru and Teresiah Wairimu. He was uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence on Waiyaki Way near Tosha Petrol Station daily from 6:00pm. The cortege leaves, Umash Funeral Home on Friday 21/07/2017 at 9:00am and thereafter burial will take place at Lang’ata Cemetary.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Monicah Wamwere Ndirangu.

Wife of the late Philip Ndirangu Nduiga Daughter of the late Mamo Karla and the late Warnaitha Mamo. Devoted mother of the late Joshua Ndung’u,David Mamo, Loise Wambugu, Martha King’ori, Beatrice Ndirangu,  John Kariuki (all of Nyeri), Gladys Ndumia (Narok), and Susan Ndirangu (Ndirangu Karnau Advocates NRB). Mother-in-law of Jecinta Ndung’u, Margaret Mamo, the late Wambugu, Isaac King’ori, Mary Kariuki and Danson Ndumia. Sister of Wangechi Muita, Muthoni Kahiro, Gitonga Mamo, Njeri Munuhe, Wairimu Githaga and Karuga Mamo (all deacesed). Most caring aunt to her nephews and nieces. A loving grandmother to 29, great grandmother to 43 and great great grandmother to 2.

Family and friends are meeting daily at St Andrews RC.E.A Church (NRB) and at her home Kianderi village, Tetu Sub County, Nyeri County. The cortege leaves Nyeri funeral home on Tuesday 25/07/ 2017 at 8:30 am. for a church service at Kihora P.C.E.A church at 10:00 a.m. and thereafter burial at her home in Kianderi village.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing to eternal glory of George Ochieng’ Makosala, which occurred on Friday 14th July in Nairobi. The body is at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home.

George was an employee of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNNCI) and previously worked with the Barclays Bank of Kenya and Mater Hospital. He was an active member of the Catholic Community of the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Don Bosco Upper Hil, Nairobi.

George was the fiancée of Diana Akinyi (South Africa). Son of Mzee John Onyango Makosala and Mama Martina Onyango. Step-son of Mary Odhiambo Onyango of Simuri in Ukwala. Brother of Michael Makosala, Mary Atieno, Florence, Benter, Millicent and step-brother of Lawrence, the late Caroline, Roseline, Lillian, James, Bernard and Joan. He was uncle of Edgar, Elizabeth, Eugene, Winnie, Jackline Idva’s. His cousins include the Odhiambo Ohondes, Odhiambo Odweyos, Aduwas, Arendes, Olwares, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Rose Apartments, along Mbagathi Road, opposite the Amani Counselling Centre, next to Jonathan Gloag Academy.

There will be fundraising for the funeral costs on Friday 21st July 2017 and on Tuesday 25th July 2017. Both harambees will be at the All Saints Cathedral from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Wednesday 26th July for a Service at his residence in Ruiru, the body will be transported to his Rural home in Egetuki, Ogembo, Kisii County on Thursday 27th July followed by Service and Burial on Friday 28th July.

Father-in-law of Athumani Gambere, Faith Loko, Bernard Wambua and David Gitonga. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
