Patrick Kiprono Kurgat

The management and staff of National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) regret to announce the death of Patrick Kiprono Kurgat, formerly of Bomet Office, which occurred on 3rd February 2017. Son of the late Joseph Marisin and the late Juliana Marisin of Chelilis Village, Kericho County. Loving husband of Joyce Kurgat. Father of Duncan Kipyegon, Caren Cherotich, Kevin Kipng’enoh, Millicent Chepkirui and Mark Kipkorir. Brother of the late Christopher Kurgat, Beatrice Soy, Charles Kurgat, Benard Kurgat, Josephine Ruto, Anthony Kurgat, Boniface Kurgat, Roseline Marisin and Phyllis Yegon. Brother in law of Sally, Mary, Abigael, Lenar, Mercy, Elijah Soy, Simon Ruto and Joash Yegon. Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at his home in Chemosot.

The fundraising to defray the funeral expenses will be held on Thursday, 9th February, 2017 at home Chemosot from 2.00 pm. The cortege leaves Kabianga University Funeral Home Kapkatet – at 3.00 pm on Friday 10th February 2017 for a church service at St. Marks Catholic Church – Litein – and then proceed to Chemosot Home for an over night stay. The burial will be held on Saturday, 11th February, 2017 from 10.00 am at home Chemosot, Kericho County.
