Peter Mukoko Aura

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Peter Mukoko Aura of Esirabe, Ebubayi Village, on July 11, 2026.

He was the son of the late Johnstone Otinga Mukoko and the late Mama Josephine Mukoko.

He was the husband of Sophia Awinja Aura, beloved father of Agnes, Joyce, Jerry, Steven, Job, Joan and Josephine, father-in-law of Cosmas, Anastasia and Vladimir and a grandfather of Sylvia, Sharon, Christopher, Peter, Xyleq, Micah, Gabriel, Valencia, Sophia, Nolan, Dylan, Colins and siblings.

He was a cherished brother of the late Ainea Mukoko, Margret and Etta.

He was an uncle of Felix, Meldin, Marcus, Prof Dickson, Nelson, Josephine, Dr Johnstone, Sophie, Amos, Ibrahim, Linet, Sarah, Minika, Shem, Agneta, Beatrice, Alice, Emmah, Alfred, Rachel, Victor, Hillary,Walter, Dorothy, Donald, Brenda, Joe, Caroline, Lynne, Collins and Brian.

He was the son-in-law of the late Joel and Linet Mukoya and a brother-in-law of Abigail, the late Norah, Alice and the late Weche.

Family and friends will congregate daily at the home in Ebubayi.

The cortege will leave Masaba Funeral home on Friday, July 24, at 8:00 am to the funeral service at Ebubayi Church of God. Burial service will be held at Esirabe Primary School at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and laid to rest at his Ebubayi home in Vihiga county.
