Peter Ngigi Mbugua (Mzee Githunguri)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter Ngigi Mbugua, which occurred on 4th June 2026.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Muthoni. Loving father of the late Anthony Muthee, Francisca Wanjiku, Cyrus Mbugua, Dominic Kamau, Salome Nduta, Annastacia Wanjiru, the late Sammy Nyoro, Lucy Waithera and Douglas Mwaniki.

Brother of Mary Wanjiru. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Uncle, In-law, father-in–law and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5pm at his Misongeni home.

Funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, 12th June 2026, at his home in Makindo, Ngukuni Village, Makueni County
