It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter Ochieng’ Kichana (Japuonj) of Gendo Village, Gwasi South. He was a former KNUT/BBF treasurer for South Nyanza and former Councilor for Gwasi South Ward. Son of the late James Kichana and Mama Leokadia Ochungo. Husband of Silermina Ochieng’, Syprine Ochieng’ and the late Immerculate Ochieng’. Father of Phillip Ochieng (Homa Bay County), Lencer Kichana (Sinapanga, Bondo),Alice Achieng’ (Kanyamkago), Emily Ochieng’ (Homa Bay), John Kichana (Oyugis Hospital), Dan Ochieng’ (Homa Bay County Government), Olga Atieno (Kisii), Irene Kichana (Mbita), Maurine Kapis (Oyani), Den (Mombasa Technical University), Dick (Laikipia University), Dod, Emma, Kit, Brad and Rezine. Brother of Jectone, Monica, Alex, Mark, lska, Rose, Joice, Sylpa, Julius and late Grace. Son-in-law of late Cpl Sila Oswago and Mama Angelina Oswago of Kanyamwa Kadwet and the late Damianus Owili and Catherina Owili of Ungoye Suba. Father in law of Linnet, Juliet, Berryl, Mary, Richard Kichana (Japuonj) Ogeda, Oyare Oingo, Stanley Afwata, Robinson Jangu, Babu Kapis and Derrick. The cortege leaves Med 25 International Kirindo Mortuary on Thursday 2nd March 2017 and will be laid to rest on Friday 3rd March 2017 at his home in Gendo Village, Gwasi South.
