It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Rukahu Kinya. Only child of Hannah Njeri and the late Samuel Kinya Mengere.

Step son of Wairimu Kinya.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Wambui Kinya.

Father of Samuel Kinya Rukahu and Hellen Wangari, Jeniffer Njeri and Emmanuel Makau, Daniel Kamau Rukahu and Rose Chelagat.

Grandfather of Micah Mbului and Marie Mwende, Wambui Kinya and Zoe Wambui Kamau. Step brother of Paul Ng’ang’a, Salome Wanjiku Gathinji, Wanjira, Rukahu, Mwaura, Wanja, Chege, Njeri and Njung’e.

Brother in law of the Ndorongo family of Mukinye in Gatundu. Nephew of Mwalimu Lawrence Njunge, Mwaura Mengere, Priscilla Karigo, Henry Matheri and Charles Karita among others.

Cousin to many including the Matheri family and Leah Wanjiku Muhia family.

 

Daily meetings are being held at his Kiamunyi home in Nakuru from 4pm and at Rift Valley Sport Club Pavilion from 5pm for Nakuru young turks. Meetings are also being held at St. Andrew’s PCEA Church, Nairobi, from Tuesday 27th to Thursday 29th June 2017 from 6.00pm.

 

The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 1st July 2017 at his Kiamunyi home.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru at 8.30am.

Job 14:5-6 Man’s days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed. So look away from him and let him alone, till he has put in his time like a hired man.
