Phoebe Sayo Asava 1923-2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Sister in Christ Phoebe Sayo Asava which occurred on 24/04/2017, at Avenue Nursing Home Kisumu, after a short illness.
Daughter to the late Obinga and Bilha Ayodi of Vihiga County. Wife to the late Jamin Asava. Loving mother of Peter Magada (Church Commissioners for Kenya), Jane Kareha (Mbale), Henry Asava (Hemara Hotel), Mary Kavazika (Lugare), Edith Salanwa (BTB), Bilha Vusha (Ebwambwa Sec School). Mother in Law to Gladys Masilwa (Chanduma Pry School) amongst others. Grandmother to Eric, Harriet, Nelly, Sheila, Brian, Violet, Edwin, Collins, Victor, Innocent, Jane, Mathew, Grace, Geoffrey, James, Patrick, Ben, Nebart amongst others. Great grandmother to many. She hails from Kedohi Village, Kegondi Sub Location, Maragoli West. The cortege leaves St Monica Hospital Mortuary in Kisumu today 27th April 2017 at 2.00pm, thereafter a memorial service will be held at Salvation Army Church Kisangula. Burial will take place at her home in Kedohi Village,Vihiga County on Saturday 29th April 2017.
