1932 – 2017 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and a mentor to many, Rachael Waithira Kamau.
Wife of the late Jeremiah Kamau Ndirangu. Loving mother of Lydia Wambui, Beth & Job Thamaini (PCEA Langata), Wilson and Millicent Kamau (Geodata Land Surveyors and Consultants), James and Catherine Wangigi, Stephen and Grace Njihia (H-Young Ltd), Anne & Simon Kagima (Adrian Kenya Ltd). Step-mother of John Ndirangu, Lucy, Flora and Hannah. Grandmother (Cucu) of Wangeci, Wanjohi;Wanjiku, Kinyua,Alfred Kamau; Nelson Kamau, Eva,Terry,Aaron; Nixion Kamau, Racheal Waithira; Dorris Waithira, Davis Kamau; Ethan and Eunan Kamau among others. Great grand-mother of many.
Prayer meetings are being held daily at her home Muruaki (Gwa-Giiko) Kinangop, and at All-Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th, May 2017 from 5.30-7.30pm. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 5th. May 2017 at 7.00am. Funeral service and burial will take place at her home Muruaki (Gwa-Giiko) Kinangop, Nyandarua County on Friday 5th May 2017 from 10.30am.
