Rev. Fr. Andrew Mwaura, OFM Capuchin

Capuchin Franciscans Friars announce the sudden death of
Rev. Fr. Andrew Mwaura, OFM Cap, former Parish Priest
Of Kigogo-ini Parish Archdiocese of Nyeri, worked at
St. Jude. Chapel Westlands, Masogo Parish Archdiocese
of Kisumu, Mpeketoni Lamu Diocese of Malindi, Wajir Parish, Lang’ata Capuchin formation house and chaplain of SFO.

He was the 3rd born of the late Joseph Abuga and Serah Wairimu
and a brother of Terry Wambui, Charles Muchomba of S. Africa, Fr. Michael Babu of Malindi Diocese Baharini Parish,
Ann Wanjiku of Greece and John Njahia of UK. Brother
in law of Elias Njogu, Jane Muchomba, Joseph Ndung’u and
Sophie Niahia. Uncle of Peter Kamau U.K, Antony Thetu
of Greece, Njeri, Ngacha,Wairimu U.S.A, Lilian, Magdaline,
Joe, Martin, Andrew, Bridget, Joe and Justin. Nephew of
Babu, Njahia and the late Mwaura and Wanjiku.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital Mortuary on 13th July 2017 for a requiem Mass at St. Jude Chapel Westlands, thereafter body is transfer to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic
Church Ruiru, for Vigil Masses. On 14th July 2017 Requiem Mass starts at, 10:00am, followed by the burial rites at St. Austin Msongari Westlands.

    May the soul of fr. Mwaura and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
