Son of Mary Jerono Chumo of Kapmaraba. Husband of Jane .Chepkemboi Agui. Father of Victor Kibet, Sheila Chepchirchir, Daisy Chesang, Derrick Kimurgor, Sandra Chepkosgei, Gilbert Cheruiyot and Cindy Chepchumba. Brother of Martin Kiplagat (Teacher Mumias), the late Ledisha Chelimo, Betty Nyamweya (Post Bank Nairobi), Lee Kiptoo (Uasin Gishu County) and jackline Keitany. Uncle of the late Peter, the late Sammy, Stephen, Jonathan, Mike, Nathaniel and the late- Stanley. Brother-in-law of Romana Yego and Roselyne Olando, Paul Nyamweya and Victor Keitany. Son-in-law of Kiprono Busienei, Tamurei and Tabarno (Kapmugul) and Kaplilan (Nandi hills). The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary on 8/6/2017 at -2.00pm. Burial and funeral service will take place on 9/6/2017 at his home Kerita Kosyin.
