It s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of dear father Rtd. Pastor Daniel Muema Kalii of Mukimwani Sub-Location, Kalimani Location, Kisau Division, Mbooni East District, Makueni County, which occurred on 2nd January 2017 at St. Mary’s Mission Hospital. Lang’ata after a long illness.

Loving husband of the late Agnes Kanyali. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kalli Makau. Father of the late Jonathan Kilatya, Winfred Beth (Kisau – Sub County Hospital), Josphine Mutethya (Katumani Dispensary KARI-Machakos), Joseph Kimanthi (Kwa Kalenga Market), Stephen Mutuku (Nairobi), Justus Musyoki (Mbumbuni), Florence Ndinda (Ngakaa) Dr. B.K Muema (JKUAT) and Medrin Ndunge (Mbumbuni).

Father-in-law of Charles Kiilu (Kathiani), Dr. Makau Matheka. (Ministry of Health HQS), Patrick Nzyoka (Matuu) and Joseph Maingi (Mbumbuni), Janet Kimanthi, Ruth Mutuku, Felistus Musyoki and Angelica Kyalo.

Son-in law of the ate Mr. and Mrs. Mutie Kitonga. Brother of the late Mutua Kalii. the late Kivindu, Munyaani, the late Muluki, Willy Kalii, Kavingu, Joseph Kalii, Katungwa and Ndavi Kalii.

Brother-in-law of the late Maingi Mutie, Betti, Mutete and Ndungi Mutie. Grandfather of Mutisya, Mutie, Carol Mwende, Tom, Muoka, Carol Mutheu, Kennedy, Ndile, Mwikali, Mumbo, Mambo, Sidney, Linda, Mwongeli, Mwendwa, Mbinya, Patience, Betty, Ndunge, Moses, Agnes, Muuo, Kanyali, Waita, Mutheu and Ngumbau.

Great grandfather of Sophia, Alvin, Shawn, Nicholas, Ganna, and Brighty.

There will be meetings from 4th to 6th January 2017 for the burial preparations at Garden Square, Nairobi, Suntex Hotel Mbumbuni, Comfy Inn Thika Road and his rural home Mukimwani Village.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Mortuary – Machakos – on 7^th January for burial at 2pm at his Mukimwani Farm.
