Daughter of the late Nimrod Kariuki and Mary Wachuka Kariuki. Sister of Anna Kanyiri, Jesse Kigotho, Venancio Gathu and Margaret Wagithiga. Wife of David Mwangi Wagweka and co-wife of Mary Wangui. Mother of the late Ephraim Kariuki, Grace Wanjugu of Kinale Road Unit, James Maina, Charles Mweri of Charleton Agencies Mombasa, Jesse Kigotho of Kiarithaini Secondary – Karatina, Joseph Kibuchi of AIC Kijabe Mission Hospital, Mary Kamau of Missions of Hope International (MoHI), Venancio Gathu – Mombasa, John Mathenge and Peter Githinji of MoHl. Step mother of Elizabeth, Maina, Ngari, Charity, Esther, the late Kinyagia, Susan, Agatha, Margaret and Marion. Mother in law of Pastor Wallace Kamau of Outreach Hope Church Nairobi, Muringi, Elizabeth, Naomi, Njeri, Nancy, Wambui, Sarah, Cate and many others. Grandmother of Mwangi, Carol, Jane, Gianni, Kevin, Neema, Faith, joy, innocent, Ruth Patience among others. Great grandmother of Keziah.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral planning at her home at Kagati village Mathira Nyeri, St. Andrews PCEA Nairobi and Pastor Wallace Kamau’s Residence Bustani Estate Kiambu next to Starehe Girls’ High School 5:00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Friday 3rd March 2017 at 8 an and thereafter for a funeral service at 10.30am at her home Kagati village, Mathira, Nyeri County.
