It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Samson Njuguna Munyua (Solo) formerly of the Immigration Department Nairobi, Garissa and Loitokitok on 2nd June 2017.

Husband of Joy Munjiru Njuguna Munyua and father of Phyllis Huro (Wahu) Munyua, Solomon Munyua and Maria jemimah Munyua.

Son of the late Solomon and Phyllis Munyua and step son of Lucia Karungari Munyua. Son-in-law of Peter Nthuku and the late Mary Nthuku, brother of Eva, Teresia, Loraine and the late George Ngugi Munyua (Willie), the late Leonard Ngugi and Late Prof Elizabeth Njeri Ngugi, the late Raphael and the late Gladys Njoki Kabando, the late Muthoni and the late Samuel Ngaku Munyua, Muthoni and Erastus George Kamau Munyua, the late Jemima and the late Willie Marende, Drs Hilda and S. J. Muchina Munyua, the late Wilson Kariuki Munyua, Elizabeth Wambui and Joseph Wambugu, Esther and John Njoroge Munyua, Rahab and Joseph Kamau Munyua, Sarah Wanjiru Munyua, Polly and Mugo Munyua, Eunice Mugechi Munyua, Cecilia Nyambura Munyua. Brother-in-law of Lucy and Rtd Major Muigai, Millicent and Anthony Chege, Maureen and Moses and Jane and James Gichuhi. Grandfather, uncle and friend of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his house at Jericho Lumumba Estate. A thanksgiving service will take place at St. Phillips Church – Jericho at 11.00 am on Wednesday 28 June 2017.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 29the June 2017 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at his farm in Juja Farm.
