Samuel Omondi Olang’ (Sammy)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Samuel Omondi Olang’ (Sammy) on Friday 23rd December 2016 after an illness bravely borne.

Son of Elder Zadock Ondeng’e Olang and Agatha Olga Olang’ of Karengata SDA Church, Nairobi. Brother of Victor Olang’, the late Michael Olang’, Beryl Akoth and Kate Wambayi. Nephew of Boaz Olang’ (USA), Simeon Olang’ , the late James Olang’, John Olang’, the late Elly Owinyo and Onesmus Owinyo, Fred, Thaddeus, Patrick, Dennis, the late Hannah Onyango, Rodah Adede, Silia Adede, Dinah Bita, Loyce Gogo, Eucabeth Okello, Rose Munga, Doris Agwa, Grace Bula, Lucy Bwekweso, Rose Munjal, the late Hildergard, Mary and the late Maureen Wambayi, Jane Olang’ (USA), Sis Maryclaire, Risper and Pamela Olang’ among others. Cousin of Evans, Jimmy, Job, Andrew, Kepha, Linda and Geoffrey (All of USA), Hilda, Caroline, Dick, Jackline, Allan, George, Ian, Edgar.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Rongai Acacia near Adventist University of Africa, Kajiado County for prayers.

There will be a fundraiser on the 29th December 2016 at All Saints Cathedral from 5pm to help meet the funeral expenses. There will be a church service at Central SDA Church (Maxwell), Milimani Road, Nairobi, on the 3rd January 2017 from 9.30am.

The cortege leaves the Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi, on 5th January 2017 at 6.30am for their home in Kamuma Sub location, Rawinji Oyugis, Homa Bay County.

The burial will be held on Friday, 6th January 2017.
