Sarah Wambui Thairu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s we announce the passing on of Sarah Wambui Thairu that occurred on 12th November 2016 after a short illness.

Beloved wife of Edward Ndirui Kimani of Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute, Mombasa. She was the mother of Alex Kimani and Esther Wangui. Grandmother of Albert Baraka Kimani and Amani Thairu Kimani. Daughter of Benson Thairu and Esther Njeri Thairu. Sister of James Gathogo, Jane Njoki, John Kahwai, Peter Mukuria and the late Eric Ndung’u.

Friends and family are meeting daily starting at 6pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at home in Mikindani and at Mombasa Village in Mombasa as well as at the family home in Gathiga, Kiambu.

 The uneral service and burial will take place at home on Friday 18th November 2016 at Gathiga Kiambu.
