Sellah Ogol Ndiege

1962 – 2026

We announce the death of Sellah Ogol Ndiege (Sheila) with humble acceptance of God’s will She was a former teacher at Chianda High, Moi Forces Academy, and Farm Secondary.

Affectionate wife of Professor Isaiah Omolo Ndiege, former Vice Chancellor of Kyambogo University, Kampala. Beloved mother of MM & Josephine Omondi, Beryl & Ngaruiya Kamau, Maurine & Dr. Paul Okeyo, Grace Ndiege and Willis Ndiege. Proud and loving grandmother of Irvine, Irylene, Sheena, Irwin, Thayu, Telo, Felicitus, Eiden, Ivan, and Lisala.

Beloved daughter of the late John Awidhi Ogol and the late Grace Munala Awidhi. Loved sister of the late Noel, the late Peter, Stephen, Irene, Moon, Killion, Mary and Rose Awidhi.

Devoted daughter in law to the Alice & Willis Ndiege.

Cherished niece of Meresia Okada, the late B. Ogol, the late E. Kang’a, the late P. Kang’a, the late Phanice and the late Rida.

Family, friends, and well-wishers are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Gem Malele and Kahawa Sukari.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 at St. Peter’s ACK Kahawa Sukari from 2:00 pm, followed by a second Requiem Mass on Friday, 17th July 2026 at St Paul’s ACK Malele, Gem, from 2:00 pm after the funeral procession from Kwe Funeral Home, JOOTRH Kisumu.

The final celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, 18th July 2026 at Malele Comprehensive School, Gem Kanyadet, from 10:00 am, with interment at the Malele Village home from 3:00 pm.
