It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Shelomith Gathoni Gachigua of Iruri, Kiamariga, Nyeri County on 19th March, 2017.
Daughter of the late Mary Mugure & Kabia Rerai of Kabiruini Village, Nyeri County. Sister of Muriuki Rerai, the late Nyakabete Muriuki and the late Muchiru Weru. Loving wife of the late Ephraim Gachigua Gathekia. Dear mother of Beatrice Wanjiru, Grace & Edward Muriithi, Margaret (NACOSTI) & Dr. John Maimba (KNH), Purity Mbete (Nairobi), the late Catherine Njeri, Violet & Christopher Murakaru (Naromoru), Ann & Titus Warutere, Ann (St. Francis Hospital) & James Ruhiu (NCC), and Mary Mugure. Grandmother of Shelomith & David Kimoi, Eric, Jane & Paul Muriuki, Carol, Marvin, Goeffrey, Jane, Maureen & Timothy Chege, Diana, Rosalyn, Janice, Esther & Antony Kimani, Nguru, Ephraim, Shelo, Gachigua, Lucy, Clare and Mark. Great grandmother of Celine, Kesley, Edwin, Lewis, Vincent, Eric, Andrea, Eugene and Tiffany.Auntie of many.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at P.C.E.A St. Andrew’s Church, Nairobi, from 5.30 pm and at her home, Iruri, Kiamariga from 5.00 pm. The Cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary, Nyeri County on ,Friday, 24th March, 2017 at 8.00 a.m for her final resting place at Iruri, Kiamariga, Nyeri County.
