Simon M’ Rikura Kiria

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Simon M’ Rikura which occurred on Wednesday 4th January 2017 at Consolata Mission Hospital, Nkubu.

Husband of Alice Karianyama from Mugurukia Village, Thuura Location, Nyaki East Ward, North lmenti District – Meru County. He was father of Sarah Mugambi, Nteere, Obadiah Rikura, Nancy Gitonga, Mwichuni Rikura, the late Joseph Rikura, Agnes Kajuju Mpuru, Kairuthi Gitonga, Mutuma Rikura and Catherine Mwirigi. Father in-law of late Mugambi, Nteere, Gitonga, Hon Mpuru Aburi, Gitonga Araya, John Mwirigi, Caroline Obadiah,Karambu Mwichuni and Ruth Mutuma. He has left behind 28 Grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Mugurukia Village, Mikinduri St. Masimo Catholic Hall, Athwana and Muriri DC’s Hall.

The cortege leaves Nkubu Consolata Mission Hospital on Saturday 14th January 2017 at 8.00am for funeral service at M.C.K Kiamwitari Church, Thuura Location and burial thereafter at his home in Mugurukia Village, Thuura Location.
