Sir Edward Njoroge Kirui.

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Sir Edward Njoroge Kirui. Sir Edward was a beloved family man, friend, and respected member of his community Throughout his life, he demonstrated integrity, kindness, hard work, and unwavering dedication to those around him.

Son of the late Daniel Kirui Gathuna and late Rebecca Ndinda Kirui.

He was the husband of Mrs Magdalen Wangui Kirui.

Brother of John Muthiora Kirui, the late Joel Mbugua Kirui, the late James Waweru Kirui and the late Joseph Kamuyu Kirui.

He will be remembered for his warm spirit, wisdom, generosity, and commitment to family and community.

Mr. Kirui is survived by his loving family, Rebecca Ndinda, Leah Wanjiku, Daniel Kirui, Angela Wanjiku and Anthony Kiarie Njoroge and 10 Grandchildren who cherished him deeply.

While his passing leaves a great void in our hearts, we take comfort in the memories he created and the values he instilled in those who knew him.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 for the funeral to take place at Langata Cemetery.
