1930-2017      It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of Sister in Christ Phyllis Kariuko Muchiri .Wife of the late James Muchiri Njogu. Mother of Rosemary Muchoki, Rev. Grace Mulwa, Jennifer Wangila, Irene Muchiri, Dickson Njogu and the late Justus Nyamu, Simon Kamai & Charles Ndambiri. She was Mother-in-law of Lilian Wairimu, Irene Karimi, Dan Muchoki, Rev. Ben Mutia, Titus Wangila & the late Ann Wanjiku. Grandmother of Wachira Nyamu, Charles Nyamu, Symon Nyamu, Wachira Kamai, Caroline Kamai, Hosea Mulwa, Rose Mwende, James Musili, David Mulwa, James Kinyua, Pithon Gichure, Elizabeth Gathoni, Sheila Nelima, Hillary Murefu, Sharon Wawira, Job Wachira the late Muriithi & Kawaci. She has left behind five Great Grand Children.

Friends and family are meeting for prayers at her home in Rukenya opposite Rukenya Secondary School. The cortege leaves Kibugi Mortuary on. Friday 12/05/2017 at 10:00am for the funeral service at A.C.K St. Marks Rukenya Church, thereafter she will be laid to rest at her farm in Rukenya.
