It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Solomon Mukiri Karanja (Kiri). Son of Mr. James Karanja (former Nyahururu Mayor) and Mrs. Jerioth Wairimu Karanja. Loving husband of Slyvia Wairimu Mukiri. Beloved father of Shannel Wairimu Mukiri. Brother of P.G. Karanja (Nairobi) and Meshilum Murukia Karanja (Nyahururu). Nephew of Solomon Mtikiri Karanja, (Nairobi), Dr. Muita Kihagi (South Africa), Edward Kabucho Nyahururu), John Kahwai (Nyahururu), Charles Karanja Nairobi), Mrs. Flora Kinuthia (Nairobi), Mrs.Alice Wambui Kinyanjui (Nairobi), Rahab Waithira (Nairobi), Mrs. Alice Karanja (Nakuru) and Mrs.Wanjiru Kiragu (Nakuru), mong others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his parents’ home and at Jimrock Hotel, Nyahururu, starting at 5.00pm. The cortege leaves Nyahururu County Referral Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday, 19/7/2017 at 8:30am. Burial service follows thereafter at the family farm in Marmanet Scheme, Plot No. I, Laikipia County.
