It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Veronica Wanjiku Murugu of Development Bank of Kenya Ltd.
Wife of John Kamau Murugu, Director Co-operative Bank of Kenya Ltd, and formerly of Central Bank of Kenya and the National Treasury.

Daughter of Gitonga Wairi and Rachel Wothaya, loving mother of Stephen Kimani Kamau and Samuel Gitonga Kamau (I&M Bank).

Sister of Margaret Mbirwe of Molo, Alphonse Gitonga (Nairobi Power Engineers Ltd), John Maina of JAMS Nakuru, Wilfred Muthe of Waihara, Beatrice Wanjugu Gitonga of Njabini, Lucy Wairimu Hombe, Peter King’ori, Purity Wangui Gitonga and John Mureu Gitonga.

Sister-in-law of Patrick Mbirwe, Anthony Hombe, Paul Ndichu Murugu (deceased), Mary Wambui Kimani (Murang’a), Peter Gateru Murugu of Karia, Susan Muring Muthee, Esther Wambui King’ori.

Auntie and grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Runda Evergreen where mass will be held on Wednesday 19th October 2016 at 7pm. There will be meetings at St. Andrews PCEA Church on Friday 21st October, Tuesday 25th October and Wednesday 26th October between 6pm and 8pm.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday 27th October at 10am at CITAM Valley Road followed by burial at Langata Cemetery at 1pm.
