Son of the late Ex-Senior Chief Waruiru Mukui and the lateJane Wanjiru Waruiru. Husband of Hannah Wangari. Father of Mary Wanjiru Mbacua, Lucy Waithira Mwangi, Esther Wamaitha Waweru, Jane Nyambura Mbacua, Charles Waruiru Mbacua and Felistas Gathoni Mbacua. Brother of the late Bernard Mukui, Esther Wamaitha (wa John), the late John Kimata and Felistas Gathoni Waruiru. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Uncle of Zachary Waruiru Mukui, Maria Naimasia, Salome Wanjiru Mburu, Hilary Waruiru, Judy Wanjiru, Martin Mukui among others. Father-in-law of FK Mwangi, Margaret Wanjiku Waruiru and Waweru Wachira. Brother-in-law of Muriithi Ndiba, Ng’ang’a Mweja, Muturi Ndiba and Njau Ndiba.

Meetings are being held daily at Kwetu Auto Spares, Nyamakima and at his rural home Mutacuya. The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday 0/07/2017 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at his farm Karatu Village, Gatundu South, Kiambu County.
