Winfred Nyaguthi Kihara Owino

The management and staff of the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) regret to announce the demise of our beloved Winfred Nyaguthi Kihara Owino of NHIF Eastleigh office which occurred on 18th May, 2017.

Beloved wife of Thomas Owino Odhiambo of NHIF, mother of Kevin Ochieng’ Owino and Emma Wacera Owino. Daughter of Mary Kihara and the late Dickson Kihara of Chinga location, Othaya Sub County. Sister of Catherine Wangeci, Humphrey Kihara and Caroline Wangari. She was cousin and aunty of many. Daughter-in-law of the late Mama Hellen Anyango Odhiambo, Mzee Peter Odhiambo and Mama Elizabeth Anyango of Bungasi, Mumias West Sub County. Sister-in-law of Philip & Celestine Omondi,Antony & Millicent Otieno, Patrick & Susan Oduor,Jacob & late Joan Magudha, Janet & late George Kulundu, Cleophas & Rita Wayodi, Benedict, Christine, Steven, George, Susan, David, Charles & Nancy Okoth, Hellen, Samuel Musungu among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Komarock Estate and at Tumaini house 5th floor from 5.30 p.m. for funeral arrangements.

There will be Harambee on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Holy Family Basilica at 5.30 p.m.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 for an overnight vigil at the Owino residence in Komarock Estate Phase 4, Acacia Court and a requiem mass at Kayole Catholic Church on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 06:30 a.m. Thereafter the cortege will leave for the family home in Bungasi, Mumias West Sub County, Kakamega County where she will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
