Winnie Waithira Kimani

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Winnie Waithira Kimani (Teacher at Nile Road Special School) after along illness bravely borne. Loving daughter of the late Kimani Watenga and and Joyce Njeri Kimani of Karatu Village, Ndarugu Location Gatundu South. Sister of Irene Muchira (Switzerland), Nellie Kinyanjui (Nbi), Kenneth Kinyanjui (U.S.A), the late Paul Ndumbi Kimani. Close cousin of Evans, Julius, Nungari, Joe and others. Niece of Maria Wanjiru Watenga, James Gitau Ndumbi and many others. Sister-in-law of James Muchiri (Switzerland), George Kinyanjui (Nbi). Irene Chetambe (U.S.A), Jane Nyambura Ndumbi (Nbi) and many others. Loving Aunt of Cynthia Kibata – Wanjala (Switzerland), Thomas, Brian (Switzerland) Dr. Yvonne Kasigazi (Uganda), Ian and Venessa, Leon and Stacey (USA). Thumbi among others. Grandmother of Ethan (Uganda).

Friends and relatives continue to meet at Holly Family Basillica (St. Bakhita Hall), her home Kimathi Estate, and her Rural home Karatu for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University (KU) Funeral Home on Wednesday 8th February 2017 at 8am for a funeral service at PCEA Ndarugu Church at 11am, followed by burial at her father’s farm in Karatu village, Ndarugu Location, Gatundu South.

Winnie you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you have kept the faith We thank the Lord for the many wonderful years we shared with you.
