It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved father, former Deputy Mayor and Councillor, Mwalimu Manasseh Mugera Bwosi, that occurred at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret, on Sunday 4th December 2016.

Beloved husband of Pastor Grace Bwosi. Father of Harry Bwosi, Evelyne Iravuha, David Mugera, Carolyne Oresia, Sharon Adubwa, Jacklyne Wambambo, Bradley Ngedi, Abigail Bwosi and the late Juma Bwosi.

Father in law of Jackso Iravuha (EATI), Shadrack Adubwa, Edward Mwangi Ndirangu, Nelly Mmbogah Bwosi, Hellen Olesi, Mercy Ngedi, Victoria Bwosi. He had 31 grand children.

The cortege leaves Kaimosi Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday December 7th 2016 and burial will take place on Friday 9th December 2016/

Wife of the late Reuben Mulala. Daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Ngeto Kisaa. Mother of Makau, the late Kamende, Musyoka, Tom and the late Muema.

Sister of the late Beatrice Mutevu, Daniel Kimbo, Ruth Yoana, Mulila, Phyllis Kamuti and Mumo Mutuse. Grandmother of Moses, Mwikali, Davi, Mutua, Mwende, among others.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary on Saturday December 10th 2016 for funeral service and burial at her home Sakini, Mukaa District.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his father’s home in Njatha-ini village, Kanyariri sub-location from 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves St Teresa hospital mortuary Kikuyu on Friday 23/12/2016 at 9am for a funeral service at his father’s home Njathaini Kanyariri at 11am and thereafter, he will be laid to rest at the same place.

Grandmother of 40 grandchildren namely Fr Lawrence (St Daniel-Chogoria), Bro Wilson (St Martin), Sr Jane Rita (Nazareth Sisters Gitoro) among others and 43 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 6pm at her Mama Severina home Muringombugi village.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home at 9am on Thursday 22rd December 2016 for a funeral Service at Muringombugi Primary School starting at 10am.

The holy Mass will be officiated by Rt Rev Salesius Mugambi- Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Meru. Burial will follow thereafter at her home Muringombugi village, Imenti North, Meru County.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital on the 23rd December, 2016 at 9 am for a funeral mass at her farm in Gathiga near ACK Kihingo Church.

Appreciation

We the family of Mzee Kimulany arap Rono (Kap Kong’eluk), humble ourselves in supplication and thanksgiving to Almighty God for the blessing of the life of the late Kogo Esther Jepng’etich Rono who went to be with the Lord on November 25th 2016 and was laid to rest on December 3rd 2016.

During her life we came to know the true meaning of the praise “humility comes before honour” (Proverbs 15:33)

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ainabkoi community, relatives, friends, and well wishers for the overwhelming support and generosity received in honour of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and matriarch, Esther Rono.

We thank the doctors, nurses, and the aides for providing diligent professional help and making Esther live a happy life with hope and thanksgiving.

We particularly thank Dr Constantine Akwanalo and medical staff at Fountain Hospital, Eldoret, for providing unparalleled professional care when Esther was unwell.

We thank you all for firmly standing with us during the mourning period and also during the final interment of Esther. We acknowledge the humbling spiritual, moral and material support and also consoling messages, tributes, testimonies and prayers.

We thank the committees – Ainabkoi, Eldoret, Nakuru and Nairobi – that put together resources and also organized Kogo Esther befitting send off.

We thank the Governor of Uasin Gishu County, Ainabkoi Constituency MP and other leaders for their assistance and support.
