It is with deep sorrow that the Owako family regrets to announce the death of Mr Nelson William Oduor which occurred on 19th December 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Nairobi, after along battle with some terminal illness. Beloved husband of the late Rose Achieng. Father of Nicole Oduor and Clide Oduor. Son of the late Charles Owako, late Grace Owuor Owako, the late Magarita Owako, Matilda Owako and Selina Anyango of Umala Sub Location Ugunja Siaya County. He was the former MD of International Loss Adjusters (K) Ltd. Brother of William Olotch, Francisca Onyango, Francis Odhiambo, Boniface Ochieng, Chrispine Otieno, Vitalis Omondi, Vincent Odhiambo, Roseline Achieng, Judith Akinyi, Margaret Atieno, Jackline Anyango and several others that have gone before us. Son-in-law of the late Dan Otieno and Peninah Otieno of Kanyada, South Nyanza. Uncle of Tom, Rebecca, Lilian, Modesta, Cynthia, Ernest, Berry, Viane, Ann, Charly among others. Daily meetings are taking place at his residence in Green Fields Estate, Gate No. 1202 next-to Greenfields Shopping Centre, starting from 6pm.

Friends and relatives have scheduled a fundraising on Wednesday 28th December 2016 at Garden Square Restaurant starting from 5pm. And all are invited. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 30th December 2016 for Ugunja. Burial will take place on 31st Dec. 2016 in Umala Sub-location, Ugunja, Siaya County.

Funeral service and burial will be at his parent’s home in Gatundia village, along Nyahururu-Runntruti road.

She was a committed wife to Joachim Ayimba Ochieng’ formely of Kenya Airways, devoted Mother of Francis Ayimba of Almaria KSA, Philister, Victor, Nelly, Rita and the late Beatrice Ayimba. Caring step-mom to Benjamin Ayimba – Former Kenya Sevens Coach, Mildred, Irene and Constantine Ayimba formely of Ericsson Kenya. Mother-in-law to Grace Amino Ayimba. Sister to Lillian Obondi (Her twin), Nelly Anyumba and Adonijah Diang’a former OCPD (Railways). Sister-in-law to Joseph Ayimba, Anastasia Obare and others. A requiem mass will be held at Holy Family Basilica on the 29th December 2016 from 2pm. Thereafter the body will be flown to Kisumu, for the burial on Saturday the 31st of December 2016 in Uranga, Alego Usonga.

A fund raising will be held at the Nairobi Railway Club on Wednesday 28th December 2016 from 5.30pm.There will be a mass at Kijabe Mission Hospital Chapel on Thursday 29th December from 8am after which the cortege leaves for Kakamega.

There will be a service at the ACK Church Milimani in Kakamega on Friday 30th 2016 from 10am and another one on Saturday 31st December at Mugai Primary School at 10am. Thereafter, burial will take place at Mzee Masitsa’s home in Mugai, Malava.
