It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Emily Jerotich Buigut which occurred on 7/1/2017 at the Eldoret Hospital after a brave battle with breast cancer.

Daughter of Kennedy Serem and Salina Serem. Wife of Philemon Buigut (The Noble Sacco).

Daughter-in-law of Joseph Buigut and Hellen Buigut.

Sister of David, Josiah, late Peres, James, Daniel, Lydia, Jackson, Reuben and Faith. Mother of Caleb, Maureen, Marrion and Emmanuel.

Daughter of the late Isaya M’Ithara and Zipporah Mwari. Daughter in law of the late John Mikwii and Janet Mikwii. Beloved wife of Mr Hannington Kinyua and a lovely mother of Munene (Chuka Prisons), Ciroline (Uruku -Prisons), Faith (Business Lady) and James (student — Meru National Polytechnic). Mother in law of Wanzila (Meru Referral Hospital) and Mworia (Kangeta Prisons). Sister of Kathambi, Dr Ithara (Mater Hospital, Mary Kaburu, Mwendwa (Embu), Florence, Hellalion, Agnes (Capital Sacco), John (Teacher Igembe), and Doris. Sister-in-law of Mercy Ithara (Aga Khan), the late Gabriel Kaburu, Dr Njagi, Late Silas Gitonga, Judith Karega, Stephen Shiundu (Portland), the late Henry Gikundi, Marangu, Bridget, Zipporah, Ntogaiti, the Late Jane Murungi the late Mbaya and Ntabatia. The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 13th January 2017 at 10am for a funeral service at Ntakira Methodist Church and thereafter burial ceremony at her home Menga Village Ntakira Location Meru County.

Daughter of the late Mrs Esther Mbee Eliud and Mr Eliud Muchiri Gakuru. Loving wife of Mr Colley Njeru Samson. Mother of Murithi, Kaaria, Kirimi, Kawira, Muthoni and Nkatha. Mother in law of Mutembei Mugendi.

Daughter in law of the late Samson Bundi Kiome and Naomi Samson. Sister of Emily, Mugambi, Miriti, Kagendo, Rebecca, Igoki, Mukwanyaga, the late Nyaga, Cangu and Mundia. It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing onto glory of Mr. James Muhindi “Matigari” Kaharuka, after a short illness on the 7th January 2017 at Aga Khan University Hospital.

He was the Director and proprietor of Matigari General Merchant and Transporters. Matigari was an industrious, great man of courage, wisdom and strength. He loved his family, friends and was a blessing to many.

Son of the late Antony Kaharuka Kangara and Tabitha Nyaguthii of Gakawa sub-county, Ragati farm Nanyuki, Loving husband of Rose Wamuyu Muhindi and cherished father of Faith Nyaguthii Muhind; (C.U.E.A), Maryann Muthoni (Pioneer Girls’ School), and Joyann Njoki (Thika Road Academy). Beloved son of Anne Messi Kairu and Francis Njoroge Njenga. Brother of Leon Njenga, step brother of Chris-Hani,Tracy Wachira, Derrick Wachira. Grandson of the Late Margaret Mwalagho & Arch. Ngure Kairu and Mr. John Njenga Wamwea & Mrs. Rosemary Njenga.
