It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Mrs Priscilla Karwitha Kinyua after a short illness. Formely a retired nurse at Meru Referral Hospital. Daughter of the late Isaya M’Ithara and Zipporah Mwari. Daughter in law of the late John Mikwii and Janet Mikwii. Beloved wife of Mr Hannington Kinyua and a lovely mother of Munene (Chuka Prisons), Ciroline (Uruku -Prisons), Faith (Business Lady) and James (student — Meru National Polytechnic). Mother in law of Wanzila (Meru Referral Hospital) and Mworia (Kangeta Prisons). Sister of Kathambi, Dr Ithara (Mater Hospital, Mary Kaburu, Mwendwa (Embu), Florence, Hellalion, Agnes (Capital Sacco), John (Teacher Igembe), and Doris. Sister-in-law of Mercy Ithara (Aga Khan), the late Gabriel Kaburu, Dr Njagi, Late Silas Gitonga, Judith Karega, Stephen Shiundu (Portland), the late Henry Gikundi, Marangu, Bridget, Zipporah, Ntogaiti, the Late Jane Murungi the late Mbaya and Ntabatia. Grandmother of Kananu, Muriuki, Kimathi, Kagwiria, Mark and Kawira. Auntie of Gacheri (Nairobi Water), Makandi (KCB Thika, Makena (Aga Khan Hospital) Gakii (Safaricom) Nairobi, Karambu (Beady Meru), Muthogi (Meru), Brian (Aga Khan Hospital), Nyaga (Bungoma), Nkatha, Derrick (MKU) and Muthomi (Taita Taveta University) Kagwiria (Mater Hospital) among others.
Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th at 5pm-5pm daily at her home Menga Village. (Meru).
The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 13th January 2017 at 10am for a funeral service at Ntakira Methodist Church and thereafter burial ceremony at her home Menga Village Ntakira Location Meru County.
