Mother of Arthur Liech (Kisumu), Beatrice Nyakan (Kisii University), the late Linnet Anyango, the late Phelesia Almadi, Webby Liech ( KAA HQ), Silvester Liech (ICTA-Nbi), Duncan Odingo (Daima Eldoret) Willis Owuor and Ivy Ogweno. Mother-in-law of Peter Nyakan, Obere, and the late John Ogweno, Pamela Achieng, Rose Otieno, Lilian Nyakan, and Janet Khatenje. Sister of the late Rhoda Anyango, Yukabeth Olal, Penina Ogweno, Hellen Ongpro, Prisca Okeno, Caren Olang, late Mary Otieno. Sister in law of late Simeon, late Philip, Joseph Ogito, late Keneth, late Athanasio and Late Hezron, Benard Ogilo, late Elphas Odhiambo and Dan Ogilo, Janet Awiti, Mildred Adoyo and Grace. The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary Kisii on Thursday 10th February 2017 for burial at her home on 10th February 2017.

It is with deep sorrow and profound shock that we announce the sudden demise of Surveyor Odhiambo Moses Oremo in a tragic incident which occurred on 31^st January 2017 while on duty in Cameroon, West Africa. Surveyor Odhiambo along with four other UN personnel was ambushed by unknown armed elements at Cameroon/Nigeria border.

Son of Mzee James Oremo and the late Tabitha Achieng of Sakwa Kamayule in Nyakasumbi village in Bondo sub county, Siaya County. Husband of Madam Anne Otieno Odhiambo (KCB Nakuru). Father of Albert Odhiambo, Keith Odero and Ray Odhiambo. He also had two adopted children: Brenda and Eric. Brother of Odede, Randiki, Okoth, Masiro, Olawo, Dr Oremo, Millicent, Damahs, Fred Oyor, Mugadas, Uyiengo and Mango. Nephew of Martin, Joshua, the late John, the late Eng. Paul, the late Nereah, Ruth and Richard.
