It is with humble acceptance to God that the family of Zephania Kiongo, Director of Accounting Services Kirinyaga County Government and Agnes Wanjiru Ndung’u of Gitwe Githunguri announce the death of our son Joseph Kiarie Ndungu on 22nd March, 2017.
The second born of the family and husband of Hellen Gathoni (daughter of Edward Githundi and Grace Nduta Githundi of Ndundu, Gatundu). Father of Agnes Wanjiru and Zephania Ndungu. Brother of Simon Kiongo, Samuel Muigai, Elizabeth Wanjiku and Ruth Wambui of MKU Thika. Brother-in-law of Jecinta Kiongo and Margaret Njeri Muigai.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4.00pm at his Gitwe home for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri on 29th March, 2017 at 8.00am for burial and funeral service at his home in Gitwe.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Olkalou White Springs Hotel starting at 4.00 pm and at their home Engineer for burial arrangement.
The cortege leaves N.K.C.H (Ng’othi) Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 28/03/2017 at 8.00a.m thereafter service and burial takes place at their home Engineer, Kitiri scheme.

It is with deepest regret and shock to announce the passing on of Paul Agoi Akivembe on 20th March 2017 while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Son of the late Jotham Akevembe (Kihungu) and Mama Irene Esendi. Husband of the late Mary Adisa Akivembe and Joan Afandi. Brother of the late Peter Kiluzu, the late Japheth Luyali, the late Arthur Akaranga and Hezekiah Mwangi (who is alive). His sisters are the late Esther Ngoizi, Resba Vugutsa Shiundu, the late Belisi Vihenda Bandi and Florence Ibaiga. Father of Noel Imbwana Akivemba, Evans Mudogo Akivembe, Brian Changara Akivembe, Anthony Igaiza Akivembe, Mitchelle Akivembe, Maureen Akivembe, Valerie Mwangekha Akivembe.

Arrangements for his funeral are ongoing. Meetings are being held daily from 5.30pm – 9pm at his Nairobi residence in Kariobangi South and at his home in Mbale, Vihiga County. There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 28th March 2017 at Tumaini House, behind Kencom and next to Studio One 5th Floor from 5.30pm – 9pm.

Our dearest Symo today is exactly ten years since that sad and painful Sunday morning you suddenly left us. It is still puzzling and to us your loving family it is just like it happened yesterday.
Not a day has gone by that we haven’t thought about you and sorrowfully missed your presence. We feel your physical absence during family gathering, but your love for family unity reminds us that you are spiritually present with us.
Symo you were and are very special to us and we pray that you are at peace. You are dearly missed by your parents, children, siblings and friends.

Till that day when we shall unite never to part again, Rest in peace.

The body leaves the Moi Teaching and Referral Mortuary on Sunday 26th March 2017. Burial will take place at his father’s farm, Lumakanda Settlement Scheme, Lugari Sub-county, Kakamega County Near Jirongo Deb Pry School.

Brother of Wanjiru Maguru, Paul Mburu and the late; Gathoni Kuniara, Githua, Mwaura, Kiboro, Gikonyo and Ndiko Ndimbii. Father of Hildah Njoki, Gidraph Mwaniki, Samuel Kinyoro, David Githua, Evanson Ng’ang’a, Beth Wanjiku, Lucy Wanjiru and the late Nancy Gathoni. Father-in-law of Joseph Kariuki, Lucy Mwaniki, Ann Kinyoro, Nancy Githua, Charity Ng’ang’a, Kimacia ltotia and Githinji Njau. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on 8/3/2017 9AM. Thereafter, a funeral service and burial will be held at PCEA Church of The Torch,Thogoto.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of the late Cucu Tabitha Wanjiku Gichuhi. She was born at Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Muchai Muniu and late Wanjiru Muchai. Wife of the late Mzee Daudi Gichuhi Kirara. Mother of George Muchai, Nancy Njoki Mungai, Patrick Kirara, the late Wanjiru, Njeri, Nduta and Ndung’u. She was blessed with many great grandchildren. Sister of the late Francis Muniu Muchai and Nduta Mutungi.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at her residence, Mawe Mbili Capital Hill Ruai at 7:00p.m daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University funeral home on 29th March 2017 at 8:00am for funeral service and burial at her Capital Hill, Ruai Residence.

Son of the late Weru Gatere and Nancy Wairimu. Brother of Thumbi Weru, the late Eva Gathoni, the late Mary Wangeci and Stephen Mwangi. Grandfather of 20 children and Great Grandfather of 6.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Olongai Scheme and Nairobi Oakplace Hotel, Garden Estate, Nairobi, on Monday 27th at 5.30 p.m., and every day at Emirates Hotel Kiambu starting from 6.00pm for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 29th March 2017 at 7am and thereafter burial and Requiem Mass will take place t his home Olongai Scheme.
