Our family is saddened to announce that on Wednesday, 19th April 2017, at the age of 95 years old, Mrs Susana Wavinya Maliti passed away in Nairobi after a long illness. She was a retired teacher and an active leader in the MC Kangundo Region, over the years.

Wife of late Elijah Maliti Kibwaa. Mother of John & Nduta Maliti, Rev, Dr. Joseph & Elizabeth Kibwaa, the late Hannington & Mary Munyao Maliti, Agnes Mbithe Wambua, Josphine Mueni & Jasper Mutuku Mutiso, Monica & Reuben Mbithi Kiamba, Mary Mbulwa Maliti, Flora Mwangangi and Dr Charles & Rachel Maliti. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Her surviving siblings include Raeli Muathe of Kitwii, Loise Githinji of Kilimambogo, and Daniel Gachukia of Kandara.

The late Susana will be deeply missed by friends and all members of her family. Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Kitwii, Kangundo; in Southland Estate, Lang’ata and at Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong’ Rd on Tuesday, 2 May 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30pm.

Special Fundraising at the Nairobi Baptist Church will be on Wednesday, 3 May 2017 from 5:30pm-7:30 pm.

A memorial service will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong’ Rd on Thursday, 4 May 2017, at 2:00p.m.

The cortege departs from Montezuma Funeral Home at 8am on Friday, 5 May 2017, for burial at her home in Kitwii, Kangundo beginning at 12 noon.
