It is with a mix of celebration of the Lord’s blessings and heavy hearts that we announce the promotion to glory of Reverend Canon Hannington Nyang’oro Omoto of Bukhakhala Village on Friday, 21st April 2017.

Son of the late Ezekiel Omoto and Yakobet Kwena. Beloved husband of Alice Odolia Omoto.

Loving father of Daniel Were, Wesley Ofudato, William Omoto, Ruth Mutswenje, Simon Chibole, Irine Odhiambo, Caleb Omoto, Joy Omoto and Naomi Omoto. Brother of Lydia Khadondi, Miriam Nungo, Euniah AIoo, Wilberforce Onyango, Milton Akotsi, Esther Matiama, Fridah Odhiambo and Margaret Masiga. Grandfather of Sharon, Morgan, Elvis, Kenneth, Fridah, Ian, Johnluise, Michael, Fidel, Joan, Ryan, Rael, Esther, Alice, Myles, Precious, Alice, Emmanuel, Gideon. Son-in-law of Nicodemus and Margaret Ofudato. Brother-in-law of late Manasseh Nyamori, Dickson Ogutu, Arthur Wanjala, Mary Bwire, Florida Okuku, Josephine Wanjala and Grace. Father-in-law of Vinnecious Mutswenje, Hesbon Odhiambo, Richard Onyango, Douglas Mukhanda, Metrine Ofudato, Brenda Omoto, Maurine Chibole and Dorise Omoto.

The cortege will leave Sega Mission Hospital on 29th April 2017 for stopover at ACK Busende, ACK Lugulu, ACK Malanga and eventually for a church service at ACK St. Thomas Cathedral Nambale.

Burial will take place at his Gobero home, Bukhakhala village, Bumala location on Monday 1st May 2015.

Son of the late Wisdom Msengeti and Dorah Mkamwangala.

Husband of Matilda Nyambu.

Father of Ben, Eliza, Dorah, Mary Nyambu, Tabitha Wakesho & Dorah Mkamwangala. Grandfather of Jedi and Catherine. Brother of Gibson Zai, Joram Mghanga, Scaver Mnyaka, Jefferson Msengeti, Gift Mnyamwezi, Henry Lezen and the late Audrey Bahati.

Family and friends are meeting at Coast General Hospital daily at 4pm for funeral arrangements and fund-raising. The cortege leaves Coast General Hospital on Sunday 30/04/2017 for burial on 1st May, 2017 at Iriwa ,Wundanyi, Taita Taveta .

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3rd May 2017 at 8.00am for church service at Ititu, PCEA church and thereafter burial to take place at their home in Ititu, Mukurweini on the same day.

Juma and Jennifer of Ugunja. Grandson of the late Martha Agango and Johnson Agango Kidero. Nephew to Dr. Evans Kidero and the late Oima Ngao. Father to Maureen Genga, Brian Genga, Linda Liza Genga and Jude Genga. Grandfather to Eunice and Evans. He was brother to John Omolo, Tom Omolo, Peter Omolo, Agnes Omolo, the late Catherine Omolo,The late Rebecca Omolo, Michael Nyakinda, Cousin to Richard Obuya and the Asio’s family.
Family and friends are meeting at Kokeb hotel Nakuru everyday starting at 5.30pm. Funeral and burial arrangements will be announced later.
