Chief Mwalimu Ali Godoro 1917 – 28th April ,1967

We thank Allah s.w.t. as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of Chief Mwalim Ali Godoro son of Kahiu wa Kanyoro. Husband of the late Hawa Kachui Tairara
Son-in-law of the late Alhaj Abdallah Tairara and the late Mwanamkuu Wambui. Father of Maimuna Mazoa, Batuli Mulumba, the late Siraji Ali, Fatuma Kiboro,Tairara Godoro, Mohammed Godoro ,the late Abihanifa Godoro, and the late Zulekha Gakuru. Father-in-law of Hassan Mazoa, Mulumba Nkuenga (DRC) Christine Nyambura,Wilfred Kiboro, Saida Ali,Taabu Ali, Fauzia Gowi, and the late Simon Gakuru. Grandfather of the Mazoas, Mulumbas, Sirajis, Kiboros, Tairaras, Mohammeds,Abihanifas , Gakurus and Great Grandfather and uncle of many. Brother-in-law of the late Mohammed Tairara, the late Kibibi, the late Zainabu, the late Kastiri, the late Zainabu Bwire and Amina Tai rara.
We celebrate his vision in encouraging the Muslim Umma to send their children to school especially the girl child.
Dad, you taught us humility, generosity, honesty, integrity and caring for the less fortunate. You gave us a moral compass and prepared us well to face this world through the grace of Allah. We remember you with great love and gratitude and you will always be in our hearts.

May Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.
