It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Daudi M’Ikiugu Kwingiyia on Monday 26th June 2017 at St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital- Kiirua.

Son of the late M’Riria Kwingiyia and late Rosaria and juliah. Beloved husband of Magdalene, Harriet and the late Veronicah. Brother of M’Ringera, Murungi, Nkuene, Ncekei (all deceased) and M’Mwongera. Caring and doting father of Rebecca Bundi, Martha Maitima (Naromoru), Dorcas Gichuru (Katheri), Margaret Kithinji (Gachanka), Mwongera ‘Big Ndovu’ (Naromoru), Irene Kanana (Mitoone Pri Sch.), Salome Kinugu (Ntugi), Sabina Kimiti (Timau), Gladys Mworia (Mutuuma), Simon Maingi (Naromoru), Catherine John (Muriinya), Wanja Gituma (CIC-Laikipia), Peter Mwiti Kiugu,(Principal St. Paul’s Kevote Embu), Rose Kithinji (Nairobi), Julius Kiugu (HIT Kiborione Pry Sch.), Agnes Gikunda (Lower Chure Pri.), Mary Muthuri (Kimbo), Newton Mwiruthi) and Lilian Muriungi. Father-in-law of the late Bundi, Philip Maitima, Pastor James Gichuru, the late Kithinji Mbuni, Grace Mwongera, Charles, Kimiti, Mworia,Janet, Gituma (A.P Mwea), Mbaabu, Mrs Mwiti (Meru.T.T.C), Kithinji (Nbi), Severina (Gakando Pri.), Gikunda (Nkubu), Muthuri, Caroline (Mahianyu Pri.) and the late Muriungi. He leaves behind seventy nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers funeral arrangements at his home Kiborione Village from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves St.Theresa’s Mission Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 4th July, 2017 for burial at his home Kiborione, Ntugi Location, Kibirichia Division, Buuri Sub County in Meru County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Arthur Mureithii Muchemi on 27th June 2017 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Elizaphan Muchemi and Penis Nyawira. Son-in-law of the late Margaret Wambui and Mugo Muratha of Kangemi. Beloved husband to Nancy Mendi Mureithii. Father to Edward Muchemi, Penis Nyawira and Justus Mugo. Brother to Moses Wagura, the late Duncan Ndungu, Cyrus Wambugu, Virginia Mathenge, Wangechi Thirima, Wanjuki Muchemi, Jeff Ngatunyi and late John Kingori. Brother-in-law to Peter, Edith, Tiebo, Muthoni, Wairimu, Pertersen, the late Wanjiru, the late Njuguna and Wacheke Mugo. Grand Father to Nicole, Arthur, Elsie, Ty, Alden, Mendi and Nadia. Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at their Ruai farm (Igwamiti).

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Ruai Central church, near Muhuri Muchiri Stadium on Saturday 1St July 2017 at 2PM. Subsequent meetings will be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Monday and Tuesday from 5:30PM.

The cortege will leave KU funeral home on Wednesday 5th July at 7AM for the funeral service at 11AM at PCEA Miagayuini church, Kimathi location in Nyeri county. Burial will take place thereafter at Tubania farm.

Beloved daughter of the late Gathogo Wanjau and the late Lydia Wambui. Wife of the late Samuel Mumu (Mzee Wakiumbi). Mother of the late Christopher Mwangi, Charity Waithiageni, Fredrick Maina, the late Beatrice Wambui, the late Francis Irungu, Patrick Muturi, John Mwaura, Joseph Munyi and Margaret Wanjiru. Sister of the late Muturi, the late Munyi, Julia Muthoni, Gicheru Gathogo and James Kamau. Mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are continuing at her place, Thangathi Village and also at the son’s place (Joseph Munyi), ValleyView Estate, Kenyatta Road, Juja from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini Mortuary,Wednesday 5th July 2017 at 9:00a.m for funeral service and burial at her residence in Thangathi Village at 11:00a.m.

He was cousin to Eunice, late Isaiah, late Hellen, Ben, Esther, Viola, late Evelyne, Dr.Kibosia, Hon. Anne, Julia, Philip, Jonathan, late Eliud, Cllr. Chebelieny, Dominic, late Charles, Kipsai, Chemorio among others. Brother inlaw to Pautenza, Clara, Dr. Carolyne, Magdalene, Pauline among others.
