It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Bernard Gachanja Gathuku (formerly of BML) which occurred on bth January 2017. Son of the late Wiljim Gathuku and Flora Wambui of Kahutira, Kihoya, Murang’a County.

Loving husband of Virginia Wanjiku Gachanja (Umoja market). Adored father of James Gathuku of PSI, Caroline Wambui, Alex Kori, Joseph Nduati, David Kihara and Kenneth Waimiri. Father-in-law of Nancy Gathuku (KQ) and Cate Njoki. Brother of Simon Nduati, the late John Gachanja, Gitahi, Muriithi, Wanjie and Wambui. Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Peter Mwanji of Tinganga village, Kiambu. Brother-in-law of Kihara, Njoroge, Mrs. Peris Kabaria, Mbugua, Gakure and Alice Mwanji. Grandfather of Nathan, Nicole, Valentine, Princess and jean.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home Kiamumbi, Santiago Street, and in Kihoya Kahutiri village and Silvermine Hotel Accra Road Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (KU) on Friday 13th January 2017 at 7 a.m for funeral service and burial at his home in Njabini Kiamweri (near Gwa Kanju), Kinagop, Nyandarua County.
