It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jacquelyne Sally Aoko Owoko that occured on 24/12/ 2016. She was formerly of Telkom Kenya, B.O.M. Kisumu Girls High School, B.O.M, M.M. Shah Primary School, Manager Manyatta “6- Ward Office. Daughter of the late John Abanja and the late Rosemary Atieno Abanja of Magoya Konjra Village. Beloved wife of Peter Bernards Owoko Oloo formerly of Posta Kenya. Mother of Immaculate, Ferdinand, Emmanuel,Winnie , Millie, Maureen, Diana, Lenah, the late Consolata and Lawrence. Mother-in-law of Mike Rasugu and Megan Oduor (Canada). Grandmother of Peter, Sally, Clarissa, Samantha and Malaika. Sister of the late Joshua, Arek, Ongore, the late Hellen Akoth, Ochieng, Oduor, Odhiambo Ndondo (USA),Anastasia Awino, the late Monica Otieno, _krona, Sewe, Lilian (USA), Jcssy, Atieno, Auma. Daughter-in-law of the late Lawrence Oloo Oguda and Martha Aor of Kategi Koga Village, Ligala Sub-location, Ugenya sub-county. Sister-in-law of the late John Odhiambo, the late George Odhiambo, Lucy Achieng (Saudi Arabia), Jedidah Oduol, Celestine Arek, Caroline Ongore.Aunty of Caroline, Maria,Valarie, Edwin. Nyawana of the Rasugus and the Browns (Canada).

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday 12th January 2017, for a requiem mass at Kibuye Catholic Church at 2 pm.The body will then lie in state overnight at her house at Gudka Estate then to Sub-location, on Friday 13 January 2017. Burial will be at her home on Saturday 14/1/2017 at Kategi Koga Village, Ligala Sub-location, North Ugenya Location, Ugenya Sub-County, Siaya. County.
